Dr. Naomi Meiri-Dann

Dr. Naomi Meiri-Dann studies various aspects of the history of Western art and architecture and of visual culture. Her Ph.D dissertation (Tel Aviv University, 2000), focused on north Italian floor mosaics in the 11th-13th centuries. In recent years, she has been researching and writing on, among other things, the interrelations between art, architecture and the public space.

Meiri-Dann is a senior lecturer in the Department of Visual and Material Culture, the M.A. program in Visual Communication and the M.A. program in Arts Policy and Theory at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, and in the David Azrieli School of Architecture at Tel Aviv University.
